STEM

Building upon the skills learned in the basic FIRST Lego League robotics program, students will learn more about coding and how to build a functioning robotic arm. Students will also learn about VEX IQ robotics and compete using a joystick controller. 

We teach children to read and write because it opens new doors for them, gives them new ways to think about the world, and offers new ways to express themselves. The same is true for coding. When we learn to code, we learn to think sequentially, to think logically, and to solve problems. And most important: We gain the ability to create anything we can dream of.

Currently, we are partnering up with Techbridge. Techbridge helps us deliver engaging STEM and social-emotional supportive activities. It offers easy-to-access, high-quality, broad STEM and social-emotional learning (SEL) content through fun, engaging STEM experiences that build connection, community and family engagement.
